Positioned on a variety of exposures in Goldridge series soils, our Chardonnay vines were planted between 1975 and 1988. Careful leafing allows dappled light to reach the clusters and thinning to balances the crop load. The wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels and undergoes full malolactic fermentation.
Our Estate Chardonnay is composed primarily of the Wente Clone, which produces small clusters and berries and has a notable minerality with an almost oily viscosity.
