Predominantly, a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with just a touch of Malbec. The grapes are allowed ample hang time and picked only when ripe, even if that means waiting several weeks longer than the majority of the Côtes de Bourg. It is exuberant and full of life now and will benefit with a few years' ageing.

Roc de Cambes is located in the Cotes de Bourg appellation. This is not that far from St. Emilion. In fact it’s less than 30 kilometers due south of St. Emilion. In fact, Roc de Cambes has a terroir that is not much different than Tertre Roteboeuf, their legendary, St. Emilion estate, which is also owned by the Mitjavile family. Read more...
