Nestled in the heart of Tuscany’s Morellino di Scansano territory, Val delle Rose is blessed with an ideal Mediterranean microclimate. Spread across 370 acres, 185 of which flourish with vines, Val delle Rose has cultivated a rich legacy in the Sangiovese grape. The estate produces wines that are characteristic of the Maremma appellation, rich in fruit with supple tannins.
Long skin contact and a temperature-controlled fermentation are followed by soft pressing. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then aged for at least 1 year in barriques.
Intense ruby-red. Ripe-fruit, aromatic nose with vanilla undertones. Elegant, complex, harmonious and well-structured.
Excellent with meat-sauced pasta, veal chops, and cheese.
