Good bright deep red. Pure but tight nose offers black cherry and menthol lifted by a floral topnote. Juicy and vibrant in the mouth, with sharp delineation to the flavors of blueberry, flowers and spices. Sappy, energetic wine with lovely underlying minerality. Finishes crisp and vital, with fine-grained tannins and very good length. Nicely showcases its light soil.
Noticeable though not overt wood influence sets off a very ripe nose composed of liqueur of plum, cassis and wild raspberry aromas. There is excellent richness to the round and relatively powerful medium weight flavors blessed with an abundance of dry extract that buffers the otherwise very firm, long and serious finish. This is also notably austere and extremely compact at present and as such it seems reasonably clear that it will not be a good candidate for early drinking. Comments: Don't miss! Outstanding
