2008 Ghost Block Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon
Ghost Block produces Cabernet Sauvignon from a single vineyard in Yountville in Napa Valley. Only a very few cases are produced of this collector's Cabernet. The wine is a dense melange of black fruit flavors, along with cocoa powder and subtle oak spice. The texture is tightly woven and the tannins are dense yet very fine. The wine has lively acidity, indicating great ageing potential.
