2007 Daou Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
Jordan Winery was founded in 1972 by Tom Jordan in Sonoma's Alexander Valley in northern California. Determined to create some of the best wines in the world, in 1974 Tom hired the late legendary Andre Tchelistcheff as consulting winemaker and Rob Davis as winemaker. Rob Davis continues as winemaker to this day. Under Tchelistcheff's tutelage, Davis helped Jordan become one of Sonoma's most successful and respected wineries. The Jordan 'Alexander Valley' Cabernet Sauvignon displays flavors of red currant, cherry, blackberry and blueberry with a hint of vanilla from oak aging. Round tannins balance and support this medium-bodied wine's ripe fruit. Beautiful now, this wine will continue to age gracefully for a decade or more.
