Interestingly, this is actually more elegant than the Chambolle and certainly more complex though a good deal more reserved too and it takes some active swirling to induce the spicy black and blue berry fruit aromas to reveal themselves. The supple and round flavors are not quite as concentrated as the best in the range but the tannins are wonderfully refined and the depth and length on the mouth coating finish make this quite promising.
