Tuaca is a vanilla-citrus liqueur from Italy which is often served as a chilled shot, but is also versatile for mixing. Tuaca is made from fine Italian brandy, ranging from 3 to 10 years old blended with sugar and fine spirits before adding essences of orange and vanilla. 70 Proof.

Legend says that Tuaca was originally created for Lorenzo de Medici, ruler of Florence during the Renaissance, and grand benefactor of Renaissance art and architecture. The lost recipe was rediscovered in 1938 by two brothers-in-law who created it and named it, Tuaca.
