Named after the wife, Marie Duffau, of founder Prosper Delord, Marie Duffau Armagnacs continue to be family-made by their great-grandsons. They use the same methods their forefathers did, including slow single distillation process at very low temperatures in small batches and aging in a combination of Limousin and Gascon oak barrels. From Lannepax in Bas Armagnac, Marie Duffau Napoleon is made from Ugni Blanc, Bacco, Colombard and Folle Blanche grapes. It is deep carmel in color with an aroma of stewed prunes and spices. Aged a minimum of six years. 80 Proof.
